QUESTION AND ANSWERS

Welcome to the Q&A of LOST IN CONFUSION. This is your one stop-shop of answers to the most asked questions. (Hopefully this will keep me from answering the same questions over and over and over again...)

Question 1: Are the characters and events based on real life.
Answer: Sometimes. Although one or two of my friends are loosely the basis for some of the characters and certain story conversations are pulled from my own life, any similarity to real people and events is purely coincidental. (You heard me.) Most of the story and characters however are purely the works of my own mind. For example, I have never particapated in the steal of penguins from the zoo. That is obviously fictional...for now at least...

Question 2: What programs do you use to make the comic?
Answer: I use a combination of Macromedia Flash and, of course, Photoshop. Bow to Photoshop and offer it your brain in the form of chocolate pudding! I'm currently learning how to use Photoshop to create a comic simple from that in fact.

Question 3: Do you wish you had a real penguin?
Answer: Are you kidding? NO! They're crazy little mo-foes!

Question 4: I have an OC I think you should put in your comic. Will you do that?
Answer: I'm thinking... No. I don't really care about other people’s Original Characters. So, not interested.

Question 5: Oh my gawd, I can't believe you actually did that in your comic. You're a horrible $%^&ing person!
Answer: Yeah, I make jokes on just about everything possible. You know why? It's because the people need to learn to laugh at themselves. Life's too short to take offense to every comment someone makes...get over it...laugh...have fun. Next year, one stupid joke isn't going to matter.

Question 6: What made you want to start a comic?
Answer: It was either this or light things on fire. Also, I'm a creative person. But it was mostly the fire thing.

Question 7: Can I commission you for some art work.
Answer: Maybe. I do enjoy making art work (especially for money), but I AM in school, so I don't always have the time. Also, I don't come cheap. *Smacks first person to make sexual joke*

Question 8: Do you go to Comic Cons.
Answer: I'm a bad geek. I've yet to go to one. I really want to though!

Question 9: Why did you create you comic?
Answer: Because its something I've been wanting to do since Junior High School but was too lazy to make the attempt until now. Also, its an outlet for me. It lets my creativy show, and it allows vent on things that are going on in my life. Also I occassionally have warped ideas that would be considered improper to voice in the real world, but would be perfect acceptable in comics.

Question 10: Why do you only update once a week most of the time?
Answer:
Because I unfortunately don't have a lot of time. I work, I go to college, and I try to have a life outside of this and other stuff. Often time I'm only home for an hour or two, before I have to do something else. So... unless I don't plan to sleep, well... once a week will have to do for now.

Question 11: What made you decide on a psycho penguin with a gun fetish as one of your characters?
Answer: Penguins are inheritantly cool. Furthermore, one of my friends has a deep love of them, and during one of our many talks discussing her love of penguins, our conversation turned sinister, and thus a psycho penguin with a gun fetish was born.

Question 12: Why doesn't Alfred appear as regularly as the other characters?
Answer: Because if there is one thing I hate its where a gimmick characters gets over exposed.

Question 13: So Luc often has a lot of comic book stuff like a Robin the Boy Wonder toy and Kid Flash T-shirt. What's up with that?
Answer: I'm a comic book geek (I admit it) and DC Comics is my personal favorite. Luc shares that love of comics, and while he might be a sarcastic and manipulative ass sometimes, he's still a kid a heart.

Question 14: I've noticed that certain aspects of your art changes on occassion, such as the way you draw hair, or eyebrows or things like that. Any particular reason you do that?
Answer: Well, as with many artists I'm trying to find my style for these characters. As such, I often play around with different things when the mood urges me. Once I've got the look that feels perfect for them however, thus it will remain. Unless it doesn't.
